Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Your 10-day Morocco tour from Tangier begins with a pickup from your hotel, riad, airport or Tangier Port. Then, leave Tangier and travel through the beautiful Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. The road offers impressive views of green hills, valleys and traditional mountain villages. Once you arrive, take time to explore the famous blue medina and its peaceful narrow streets. Discover traditional shops, small squares and local cafés while enjoying the unique atmosphere of this mountain town.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Walk through the narrow streets and discover traditional souks, artisan workshops, old fountains and historic buildings. Along the way, see craftsmen producing leather, pottery, carpets and other traditional Moroccan products.

Continue your visit through the cultural heart of the city. Discover historic madrasas, traditional architecture and the famous tanneries. Your guide will explain the history and traditions of Fes while you explore its busy streets and peaceful corners. Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, leave Fes and begin your journey toward the Sahara Desert. First, drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a charming mountain town surrounded by forests. Then, continue through the cedar forests and enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel toward Midelt.

After a break in Midelt, continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley. The scenery gradually changes from green mountain landscapes to dry desert surroundings. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint to admire the palm-filled valley before continuing toward Erfoud and Merzouga. Finally, reach the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga – Sahara Desert Experience

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga and spend the day discovering the desert and its surroundings. This relaxed day gives you more time to experience the Sahara without spending the whole day on the road.

Visit Khamlia village and discover its traditional Gnawa music. Then, explore the surrounding desert landscapes and visit local communities. You may also meet a nomadic family and learn about their traditional way of life. Depending on the season, you can visit the seasonal lake near Merzouga and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
